XCR 21 Cruden farm

After a lengthy delay, the XCR season got back up and running at Cruden Farm. Good winter weather made for near perfect conditions, with no wind or rain to contend with. The undulating course was generally good, although a little dug up in patches and you probably came home with a bit of cow poo on your runners.

ESS managed just 11 competitors.

There were 4 distances on offer; 4K, 6K, 8K and 12K.

Jonathan Neethling took second place in the M14 4K in a very quick 13:33.

Next best result was veteran Brian Anderson with 3rd place in the OF 6K. Brian is sitting in 2nd place on the 60+ short course champion athlete ladder after rounds 1 & 2.
