Sandown Report

SENIOR MEN Eighteen members competed in the 10k road race at Sandown.  There were very many good runs with the highlights probably an excellent return to form from Mitchel Brown, PB from Walid A Kurtu, and good runs from new members Jeremy Drake, Luke Gray and Adrian Phelan not to mention Liam Adams being right in the finish in a very close race for the first few places in his first solid hit out for the year.  Great team efforts from Division 3 and Division 6 who both won their Divisions and a very solid 5th from Division 1 only a few places away from 4th. Ladder positions after 3 rounds are Div 1 are 5th   in quite a close contest for the first 5 places,  Division 3 and Division 6 are both 4th with quite good chances of being upgraded if we continue to contest races for the rest of the season.

JUNIOR MEN It was good to see a few of our juniors make their debut for the season and tackle the 10 km race ast Sandown.

We had unusually good conditions for this event which is always a challenge due to the inclement weather conditions.

U20 Men

Ryan Geard-32.19

Todd Finn-35.11

Ryan came 2nd overall in this division but took the points for 1st as the winning runner was an invitation entry from WA.

Todd had a impressive return from injury and ran very well finishing in 12th position

 U18 Men

Timothy Khoo-40.39

A great effort by Timothy finishing 21st being his first run for the season

Well done to all the Junior Men and let's hope we can see many more out over the next few events.
